Thailand has reimposed a compulsory COVID-19 quarantine on foreign visitors entering its borders, due to fears about the spread of the Omicron variant.
Health authorities reported a local transmission of Omicron last week.
Travel restrictions on visitors were eased in November, and this new ruling will batter its lucrative tourism industry.
