It was a thrilling end to the Suzuki Cup as Indonesia gave Thailand a good fight and drew 2-2 in the second leg of the final. They however lost 6-2 on aggregate as the War Elephants had won the first leg 4-0. Ricky kambuaya had given his side a dream start with his goal in the seventh minute, before Adisak Kraisorn levelled matters in the 54th minute. Two minutes later, Sarach Yooyen’s shot was deflected in for Thailand to take the lead. However, Egy Maulana popped up with a well-taken strike ten minutes from time.
