Here’s a little update on our tiny solar house, food forest project in Thailand. We are now setting up our tiny house to be totally self-sufficient. We’ve been successfully running our off-grid solar panel setup to produce the power to run everything in the house including air conditioning! And the submersible water pump is supplying our house, the plantings and even water for Nat’s parents house.
Now we need to setup a place to cook and eat always adhering to “keeping it simple”!
We planted in the Syntropic Agroforestry method and are watching our trees grow stedily and now we need to finish up getting our infrastructure set up. Then we will start again planting annual vegetables while our fruit trees and hardwoods continue to grow.
There’s a lot of growing methods like permaculture and others but we will be using the syntropic method of growing. It’s a steep hill to climb but we are up for the new challenge.
