Pattaya, August 9th, 2024 – Pattaya City School 3 (Sawang Fa Phrutaram) held a series of activities today to celebrate National Mother’s Day for the academic year 2024. The event was organized to honor Her Royal Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother and was chaired by Ms. Jidapa Suwatthaphon, a member of the Pattaya City Council and chairwoman of the Basic Education Commission.
The ceremony included paying homage, offering words of blessing, and presenting blessings in front of the royal portrait of Her Royal Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother. Students from each grade level participated by signing their names to offer their good wishes.
This celebration is part of a larger annual tradition where all 11 schools under Pattaya City come together to show their loyalty and respect. This year, the event is particularly significant as it marks the 92nd birthday anniversary of Her Royal Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother on August 12th, 2024.
In addition to the ceremonial activities, the event aimed to raise awareness about the immense contributions of Her Royal Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother to the Thai people. Her numerous royal duties have greatly benefited the people and contributed to the prosperity of the country.
The activities at Pattaya City School 3 not only honored Her Royal Majesty but also instilled a sense of gratitude and respect among the students for the Queen Mother’s lifelong dedication to the nation.
