Pattaya, August 7th, 2024– At 9:00 a.m., the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation in Pattaya City was the venue for the inaugural “Naklua Vision Forum.” The event, presided over by Mr. Poramese Ngampiches, Mayor of Pattaya City, brought together executives, community leaders, entrepreneurs, and representatives from various agencies and communities.
Organized by Pattaya City in collaboration with Pan Muang Co., Ltd. and supported by the Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth), the forum aimed to gather public input on the development of the Naklua area. The goal is to transform Naklua into a creative and healthy community that preserves its cultural heritage while boosting the local economy and tourism.
Mayor Poramese Ngampiches emphasized that the primary objective of the Naklua Vision is to create a development framework aligned with the community’s needs. This framework will guide the area’s transformation into a hub of opportunity and creativity, promoting good health and well-being for the Pattaya community.
The forum encouraged active participation from all sectors, including relevant agencies, entrepreneurs, and community members. Attendees were divided into subgroups to facilitate comprehensive discussions and exchanges on various issues affecting the area. The insights gathered during this first forum will be categorized and prioritized to shape the vision and operational plan for Naklua’s development.
