This really was a ‘Flight from Hell’. I was really looking forward to flying with Qatar Airways from London, via Doha and onto Bangkok, Thailand. I normally fly direct, buy decided fro change, choosing Qatar Airways, as I heard nothing but good results. Sadly this did not happen and I would never use them again.
Anyway my journey starts lat midnight leaving Plymouth, UK on the National Express coach to Heathrow Terminal 5. Arriving at Heaththrow at 6 AM I am tired, not a great start to this long and exausting journey! The check in at Heathrow is speedy and thorough, very impressed. Going through security, shocked to see just 6 people, compared to the hundreds you normally see. This is a sign of the times in 2022.
Terminal gates seem busy and I have 4 hours here. I was arrive to book in early and I think I made the right decision. Eventually its time to board the fitss part of our trip from London to Doha. Im super excited, but this soon wears off when I realise the flight is 95% full and I have a large girl next to me with bad BO…Im tired, stressed and really need sleep . Luckily I mange to change seats just before take off.
Throughout the flight three things drive me crazy, listen to my account. It’s a shame really as the stewardesses are very friendly, just one really bad rude steward. I wish I could have got him on camera.
I had booked this trip a while ago and the price was good. The day before I was due to fly Qatar Airways cancelled my flight and automatically put me on the earlier flight. I had just hours to rebook and arrange things. It also meant that I would have to travel to the airport overnight, to catch my flight. I did not want to catch the overnight bus, horrendous! I also lost my train ticket 86 pounds. So the first flight was really bad, even the food, but the second flight from Doha to Bangkok was excellent. That said U won’t be using Qatar Airways ever again!
